Supervisor Health and Safety Awareness

This training introduces supervisors to the Occupational Health and Safety Act. It focuses on the health and safety rights and responsibilities of workers, supervisors and employers. It also serves as a general introduction to workplace health and safety.

The OHSA defines a supervisor as anyone who “has charge of a workplace or authority over a worker,” whether it be a permanent or temporary assignment. This awareness training program is for anyone who supervises and/or provides direction to workers.

This one hour course meets the training required by the Occupational Health and Safety Awareness and Training Regulation 297/13.
