Standard First Aid & CPR Training

Safety First Consulting Professional Corporation is an accredited training partner with the Canadian Red Cross for Standard First Aid and CPR. We offer a comprehensive one-day course offering first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. This course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

In Ontario every workplace must have a First Aid attendant, who has completed the required First Aid Certification readily available. Every workplace must possess the proper first aid kit and supplies.  The required contents of the kit are defined by First Aid Regulation 1101 from the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB) according to the size of the workforce.

In order to successfully receive certification participants require 100% attendance and participation; 75% min. passing grade on a written, closed book knowledge evaluation; and adherence to the Fundamental Principles. Successful participants will receive a Standard First Aid certificate (digital certificate issued upon successful completion).
