Health and Safety Audits
(for GAP Analysis)
Our Site Safety Professionals provide auditing and gap analysis services to ensure your health and safety program and/or workplace is in full compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and applicable regulations. The gap analysis report will provide recommendations, as required, to ensure that the workplace is meeting legislative requirements.
Important factors to consider when completing an Occupational Health and Safety Audit are ensuring the workplace is meeting the legal requirements and establishing effective measures that provide due diligence in health and safety. An audit can include checking that all documentation required under the OHSA is in place, such as a written occupational health and safety policy, a workplace violence and harassment policy and all required postings are displayed in the workplace.
Other required documentation such as written safe work procedures, hazard analysis, and training records will be reviewed to determine if workers have been provided information and instruction on tasks they are required to do. A physical audit of the workplace will look at the various hazards in the workplace to ensure that workers are adequately protected from possible harm.
Our findings are documented on a formal audit report, complete with recommendations for corrective action, to ensure your workplace is able to achieve full compliance with legislative requirements.
