Posting Requirements
Did you know that employers are required under the Occupational Health and Safety Act to post specific documents in their workplace? Make sure you have the following posted in a conspicuous location for employees as a minimum:
Health & Safety at Work: Prevention Starts Here – Poster Available from Service Ontario Publications.
What You Should Know About The Ontario Employment Standards Act, 2000 – Poster Available from Service Ontario Publications.
In Case of Injury – 1234 – Poster Available from the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board.
A copy of the OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY ACT and applicable regulations (green book).
The employers HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY, which must be reviewed at least annually.
The employers WORKPLACE VIOLENCE AND HARASSMENT POLICY, which must include a procedure for implementation and be reviewed at least annually with all employees.
Where a JOINT HEALTH AND SAFETY COMMITTEE is required, employers must post member names and work locations, as well as a copy of the last meeting minutes.
FIRST AID certified workers must have their names posted, as well as their work location.
In Case of Emergency information, emergency phone numbers, hospital location.

We can also help set up and maintain your health and safety board, first aid station and fire extinguishers. You may be required to post additional documents in your workplace.
