COR™ is a Certificate of Recognition in occupational health and safety that recognizes an employer’s health and safety management system has been evaluated by a certified auditor and meets provincial standards. In Ontario COR™ certification is issued through the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA).

To get a COR™ your company must first have a health and safety management system in place, have it successfully audited internally and then externally by a certified auditor through the IHSA. By achieving COR™ your company will be better prepared to demonstrate due diligence and have a greater advantage when bidding on work in the construction industry.
